Six Indoor Exercises for Rainy Days

Too often when we move from bright, sunny days to the rainy days of winter, we also drop our exercise routines. Don’t let that happen this year. There are many exercise videos or programs to do all by yourself with a minimum of equipment. Here is one website offering six basic exercises to do daily to stay fit. Don’t forget to begin each exercise routine with a warm up time to prevent injuries. You’ll need a stability ball and three sets of weights depending on your level of fitness. If you’re a beginning you’ll need weights in five, eight and twelve pound increments. If you’re in the intermediate category, use weights in sets of eight, twelve and fifteen pounds. After working through the six exercises, do a cool down exercise such as stretches.
