As we get older we find we have specialized needs for our exercise programs. We may not want the bouncing and pounding of running or some dance programs. We need moderate programs that begin with careful warm-ups and then proceed to take us through a thirty minute routine geared for our bodies.
Regular exercise is extremely important as we age. We need movement that increases our balance, builds strength and flexibility to avoid injury and which builds coordination between our brains and our muscles.
We may need programs that offer both sitting and standing exercises. And it doesn’t hurt if the routine is fun to do.
