Soon there will be sunshine brightening your mornings and spring will be in the air. As you plan and prepare your family’s meals you’ll want to include early spring produce and move from the heavier winter fare to light and tasty spring recipes. For me, when I see fresh asparagus in the markets I know spring has arrived. Local strawberries are another juicy joy. Spring fruits and veggies come in a remarkable variety and can be showcased as salads, side dishes or entrees. Crisp salads and dressings make lovely brunch additions and don’t forget to complete your meals with a luscious spring dessert.
