The grandkids are coming and you’re looking for some special treats to have handy on hot summer days. Look no further. Whip up several of these recipes, store them in the freezer and you’ll be ready for summer fun. Better yet, gather the ingredients and wait to create the goodies until it’s time for cooking with the grandchildren.

Easy Lemonade Pie

Ingredients

Half a container of frozen lemonade, slightly defrosted

One container of Cool Whip or other brand of whipped topping

One can of sweetened condensed milk

Graham cracker crust, unbaked

Lemon zest (optional)

 Preparation

Whip lemonade and condensed milk together, being careful not to overmix.

Fold in the whipped topping and place mixture in the graham cracker crust.

Add lemon zest on top for color if desired.

Freeze at least three hours before slicing.

 Ingredients

11/2 cup chocolate milk

½ cup Nutella

 Preparation

Mix two ingredients until smooth and chill in refrigerator for two hours.

Pour into molds and freeze. Yum

Frozen Blueberry Yogurt

 Ingredients

2 ½ cups fresh or frozen blueberries (thawed)

2 ½ cups plain yogurt

1 cup half and half

1 cup sugar

 Preparation

Mash berries and combine with rest of ingredients.

Cover and refrigerate for thirty minutes, then freeze.
