Both kids and adults spend a lot of time in front of “screens” these days. While there are entertaining games and programs on those screens, some of us feel we may be losing the fun that comes from interacting with one another. Children are missing out on old-fashioned play and families are becoming separated from one another as each person sits individually, pushing buttons.
Here are five books that encourage families to get back to basics and play together. Projects and activities range from art to nature to things as simple as conversations.
