L.L.Bean has a download for a number of animals in the wild from a tiny chipmunk to a huge moose. Environmental Education for Kids offers guidelines for tracking animals and has a little quiz for learners. Watersheds is a blog which has excellent photos of animal tracks and how to identify them and the Ohio Dept. of Natural Resources has a similar site complete with a track chart. There are a number of children’s books with excellent text and guidance in identifying animal tracks. One is Tracks in the Snow by Wong Yee.
