1 k crawfish ( or giant shrimps)

A little flour

A small cup of Extra Virgin Olive Oil

A dash of salt and pepper

This is one of the easiest things to prepare and can be made at the very  last minute.

Mirella suggests that you keep a packet of frozen crawfish or large shrimps in your freezer for such an occasion.

Using  a large plate spread out the flour, mixed with a bit of salt and pepper, roll the crawfish in the flour on all sides and shake off the excess.

Heat up a large non stick  frying pan with the Extra Virgin Olive Oil until it is sizzling and add the seafood.

Turn them over so that they are golden brown on all sides.

Take them out of the frying pan and drain off the excess oil on kitchen paper.

These are delicious just served with a mixed salad for a light luncheon.

Zia Mirella suggests that if you are making them for the kids serve up with some potato chips .

Kids love them too
