500 g of cooking beef sliced finely

2 tins of peeled tomatoes

One carrot

2 sticks of celery 

An onion 

A small cup of Extra Virgin olive Oil

A small cup of dry white wine

A dash of salt and pepper.


Into your mix master put the carrot, celery, onion and a dash of salt and pepper and chop finely.

Place some of the mixture onto each slice of meat , roll the meat up and close with a toothpick.

Keep some of the mixture apart.

Into a casserole dish put the extra mixture and the Extra Virgin Olive Oil and allow to gently cook over a medium heat until it is soft.

Add your meat rolls and a little of the white wine and brown on all sides.

Add in the tinned tomatoes and let it cook over a low –medium heat for about 1 ½ hours.

The meat will just melt in your mouth.

Serve with mashed potatoes and vegetables of your choice.
